USA Today has published its list of “Women of the Year.” Some of those “honored” on this list are, vice-president Kamala Harris, Olympian Simone Biles, and trans-identified, Biden appointee, assistant secretary of health at the U. S. Department of Health Rachel Levine, among others.
What makes Levine stand out on this list of “Women of the Year” is he is the only one that was born a male, lived the first 54 years of his life as a man named Richard, and is still genetically, biologically, and, presumably, anatomically a man.
As an article published by Christian Post commented, “Levine’s recognition … comes as the U.S. is engaged in a debate about whether recognizing men who identify as women puts biological females at an unfair disadvantage” in athletics.
Representative Jim Banks, R-Indiana, tweeted, “Calling someone that was born … a man … the first female four-star officer is an insult to every little girl who dreams of breaking glass ceilings one day” and “the title of first female four-star officer gets taken by a man.” Banks’ Twitter account was suspended because his tweet was considered “a violation of its hateful conduct policy.”
It is no wonder that there is so much confusion; men are not necessarily men, women are not necessarily women, and the truth is not neutral its hateful.
Here is another “hateful” fact, the suicide rate among the transgender community is four times higher than the general population. The LGBTQ+ community claims it is because their people are hated. But that is not entirely true when one considers “coming out” of the closet has never been more celebrated and applauded in our culture than it has been now.
While this is not a complete explanation, I believe when the transgender person realizes there is no biological alchemy that will transmute their fantasy into reality they rebel against life and seek to end it.
This is why I am in agreement with Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill which I wrote about in last week’s column. I do not believe kindergarten and elementary age children should be indoctrinated about gender identity issues, and those who cannot be parents, biologically speaking, want to instill their ideology over the wishes of those who are parents.
Gender related issues are not just moral or religious matters, they are fraught with life and death consequences which the transgender community refuse to recognize. They care more about their agenda than they do the lives of our children. To neglect biblical truth, that we were created “male and female,” Genesis 1:27, has practical life and death implications.
Newspapers are confused about the truth and what is hateful, some political leaders are confused about what is best for our people, and some are confused about their gender.
If one thinks that is an exaggeration simply ask a transgender person to define what a man or woman is, and you will be able to tell who is confused about what is fact and what is fiction.
